Stewardship Legacy
Stewardship is the lifelong management of all the resources God has given us. In ministry, the different areas of stewardship have been referred as the “T”s of time, talent, treasure, temple, and truth. It is good for congregations to ask:
- When was the last time we intentionally challenged our people to grow in the area of stewardship?
- How can we encourage and equip our members in greater service to Christ and each other with all God has given from his gracious hand?
In the coming year, The Stewardship Legacy Series will be developed to provide multiple years of stewardship resources that encourage whole-life stewardship. The first set is uploaded entitled, “A Time for Everything.” Called workers and church leaders will find worship ideas, sample sermons, and Bible study resources.
When completed, church leaders will have five stewardship areas to explore and prioritize based on the needs of your local ministry setting.
May the legacy of these resources be a greater zeal to identify and use the gifts of God’s people for his kingdom!

Stewardship is the lifelong management of all the resources God has given us. That includes a quickly-depleting resource called “time.” So much competes for it. Taking the time to manage the time we have left has huge implications on how we individually and as a church use it for Christ and each other.
“A Time for Everything” is a stewardship series to draw attention to the precious time we have left in our lives. Called workers and church leaders will find worship and bible study resources for their congregation to consider these important times:
- A Time to PRIORITIZE
- A Time for PERSPECTIVE
- A Time to PLAN
- A Time to PAUSE
